The Thematic Workshops is a week-long event taking place from February 23rd to 27th, where Master 2 AIRE M2 and PhD FIRE D2 students from the Graduate School EURIP organize a scientific conference by inviting speakers on a specific topic. All workshops will be conducted in English.
The conference “Modeling Biological Systems: From Simple Rules to Complex Behaviors” aims to explore how modeling helps uncover hidden mechanisms in biology, from gene regulation and cell migration to population dynamics and ecosystem-level processes. This interdisciplinary event highlights that modeling is not just a mathematical exercise, but a powerful way to understand and tackle concrete problems in biology.
The workshop will feature talks by invited experts and interactive sessions designed to bridge the gap between theory and discovery. Participants will have the opportunity to use a user-friendly interactive tool for a hands-on journey into biological phenomena. Attendees are also warmly invited to bring posters to share their work and engage in discussions with the panel during the session.
The event is open to all, and no prior modeling or coding experience is required. Please ensure you register via this link.
