Circle U. opportunities for students

As a student at Université Paris Cité, you have access to all the activities developed by the European alliance Circle U. Summer schools, mobility in one of the 9 member universities of the alliance, hybrid course programmes on Circle U. themes, discovery events on the university campuses… many opportunities are available.

One or two semesters in one of the Circle U. universities.

Every year, Circle U. member universities welcome a number of students for study mobility. Students who would like to spend one or two semesters at one of these universities must follow the application procedures for the Erasmus + programme.

Short study stays through one of the Circle U programmes.

Students can also go abroad for a short period of time as part of their studies thanks to the hybrid courses which have been developed within Circle U..The themes of those programmes are diverse and allow student to develop new skills. The aim of the European alliance is to give them the keys to tackling major challenges facing our societies and thus facilitate their integration into the job market.

Circle U’s main programmes :
The CU. MUN: the United Nations simulation enables students to spend a week living the life of a diplomat and to debate the major issues facing our societies.
Entrepreneurial Change-making helps students to create a sustainable business project.
Circle U. summer schools enable students from all the member universities of the alliance to meet and exchange ideas and experiences.

Online courses and conferences

Circle U. regularly offers other opportunities to help students to internationalise their university curriculum. Most recently, the European alliance has launched a series of online ‘Open Conversations’ which aim to discuss its key themes.
The first Circle U. Open Conversation was launched on the theme of ‘The Politics of Poverty and Hope’.

Events on your campus

Events are also being organised on the university campuses. The Circle U. team from UPCité’s International Relations Department takes part in Java every year and organises events during Erasmus Days in October and Europe Month.

The Circle U. seed funding programme

Once a year, Circle U. launches a call for projects for its seed funding programme. The aim is to finance projects that aim to improve the links between the various Circle U. universities and their communities. Projects funded may include cultural and educational activities or tools to promote Circle U. ….

The ambassador programme

Every year, in September, the Circle U. recruits student ambassadors to help promoing all its opportunities. Students who would like to join a dynamic international community and develop their communication and events skills can contact the Circle U. team to find out more.
