A Board Game Night for the Students of the Buddy System

On March 4, 2025, a friendly event brought together the students of the Buddy System at UPCité. Mentees and Mentors from all faculties gathered to play board games.

A Chance to Build International Connections

At the Fwinax Tavern, a game bar specially privatized for the occasion, students from all over the world, newly arrived at UPCité, met their French and international peers from the Buddy System. Students from all fields ; science, health, or society and humanities came together to enjoy the evening and connect, under the same banner of UPCité students.

What is the Buddy System ?

The Buddy System is an initiative that connects local students with international students at the university in pairs. Its goal is to ease the inclusion of international students by supporting them in their academic journey, daily life, and adaptation to France. The mentor, a local student, becomes a guide for the international student. This mentoring program allows all participants to experience intercultural exchange and improve their foreign language skills.

Such events are held every semester! A great opportunity for Buddy System students to forge connections and enrich their university life by meeting people from different backgrounds.
