Le s\u00e9minaire a ainsi pour objet l\u2019\u00e9tude des productions des industries et des institutions culturelles \u2014\u00a0films, \u0153uvres litt\u00e9raires et th\u00e9\u00e2trales, s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es, productions m\u00e9diatiques…\u00a0\u2013 envisag\u00e9es sous tous leurs aspects, des processus de production et d\u2019usage aux formes de r\u00e9ception par des publics divers.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 En 2025-2026, les s\u00e9ances du s\u00e9minaire \u00ab\u00a0Cultures & M\u00e9dias\u00a0\u00bb rassemblent des sp\u00e9cialistes de cin\u00e9ma, de litt\u00e9rature, de sciences de l\u2019information et de la communication, de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, autour de l\u2019\u00e9tude des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes et des processus de r\u00e9ception. L\u2019enjeu est de revenir sur les questions m\u00e9thodologiques et \u00e9pist\u00e9mologiques soulev\u00e9es par la notion de r\u00e9ception dans plusieurs champs disciplinaires. Plut\u00f4t que de nous int\u00e9resser \u00e0 une r\u00e9ception\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0type\u00a0\u00bb des \u0153uvres et productions filmiques, litt\u00e9raires, th\u00e9\u00e2trales ou t\u00e9l\u00e9visuelles, il nous a paru essentiel de donner toute leur place aux <\/em>r\u00e9ceptions<\/em>, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 des publics, des spectateurs.rices et des lecteurs.rices, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la pluralit\u00e9 de leurs pratiques et de leurs exp\u00e9riences. Celles-ci sont d\u00e9termin\u00e9es par des cadres de la r\u00e9ception, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire par les conditions mat\u00e9rielles et \u00e9conomiques qui permettent la diffusion des objets culturels, qu\u2019il s\u2019agit de caract\u00e9riser pour comprendre la place occup\u00e9e par ceux-ci pour leurs publics. Analyser la pluralit\u00e9 et la multiplicit\u00e9 des r\u00e9ceptions suppose notamment de ne pas s\u2019int\u00e9resser uniquement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude de la dimension collective du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, mais aussi d\u2019envisager ces questions sous l\u2019angle d\u2019une tension entre des aspects individuels et collectifs\u00a0: tout en prenant en compte les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s des spectateurs.rices et des lecteurs.rices, on peut tenter de consid\u00e9rer les aspects communs d\u2019un rapport aux \u0153uvres et aux productions m\u00e9diatiques, de caract\u00e9riser les interpr\u00e9tations et les constructions op\u00e9r\u00e9es par des groupes sociaux et des communaut\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques. Au fil de quatre s\u00e9ances dont l\u2019empan historique nous permettra d\u2019envisager les publics de productions m\u00e9diatiques contemporaines ou plus anciennes, ces questions seront
