\u00ab\u00a0Le manifeste est mort, vive le manifeste\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb Aujourd\u2019hui plus que jamais, cet adage d\u2019inspiration royaliste affirme toute son actualit\u00e9\u00a0: en d\u00e9pit de sa mort, annonc\u00e9e dans les ann\u00e9es 1980, le manifeste est de retour, dans les lettres, dans les arts, et bien au-del\u00e0. Si d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000 la critique s\u2019accorde sur le constat de ce retour, le territoire du manifeste contemporain reste encore relativement inexplor\u00e9. Comment d\u00e9crire et analyser ces \u00ab\u00a0manifestes apr\u00e8s le manifeste\u00a0\u00bb, dont le caract\u00e8re transversal et les formes largement atypiques rendent caduque la plupart des mod\u00e8les critiques d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s pour les \u00e9tudier, fond\u00e9s exclusivement, le plus souvent, sur les productions des avant-gardes historiques\u00a0? Prenant la suite du num\u00e9ro d\u2019Itin\u00e9raires, 2018<\/i>(1) intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Manifeste \u00e0 travers les arts\u00a0: devenirs d\u2019un genre indisciplin\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, ce num\u00e9ro explore plus sp\u00e9cifiquement, dans le prolongement du projet Manart et de sa base de donn\u00e9es regroupant plus de 750 r\u00e9f\u00e9rences, le vaste panorama des manifestes des ann\u00e9es 1960 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame contemporain, en litt\u00e9rature, mais aussi en design, en photographie ou au cin\u00e9ma, pour tenter de saisir ce genre prot\u00e9iforme en constante \u00e9volution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
