5 Years of Université Paris Cité – 15 Years of EIDD – 555 Engineering Graduates
On the morning of Saturday, November 29, Amphitheater 1A at the Halle aux Farines, on the Grands Moulins campus, was filled with emotion and pride as it hosted the graduation ceremony for the EIDD Class of 2025.

A new cohort of 57 talented engineers was honored in front of nearly 200 attendees — families, friends, and university staff — for a moment symbolizing achievement and the promise of a bright future.
A Milestone Anniversary: 15 Years of Innovation at EIDD
This year’s ceremony held particular significance as it celebrated the 15th anniversary of EIDD.The event opened with a speech by Édouard Kaminski, President of Université Paris Cité. In his address, he warmly congratulated the graduates, encouraging them to embody the academic rigor and excellence of the University. He also emphasized the institution’s commitment to planetary health, highlighting the essential role of societal impact and sustainable development at the heart of today’s engineering profession.
Honoring Academic Excellence and Welcoming New Ambassadors
Maximilien Cazayous, Dean of the Faculty of Science, spoke to congratulate the new graduates and paid tribute to the faculty members and researchers who shaped this rigorous and respected program. He reminded the audience that these engineers now become ambassadors of the Faculty of Science.
Angela Vasanelli, Director of EIDD, reflected on the symbolic numbers marking this year:

Emotion reached its peak when five graduates took the stage to share their experiences, challenges, and heartfelt thanks:

The testimony of Nikita Pavelko, a Ukrainian refugee, particularly moved the audience with its message of resilience and gratitude — embodying the spirit of determination and solidarity at EIDD.
A Creative and Inspiring Presentation
Fayna Mammeri, Director of Studies, offered a sensitive and personal portrait of the graduating class through a touching and symbolic illustration. She highlighted the strong sense of community that defines EIDD and the deep connection between the school and its students.
The ceremony continued with a surprise: Jérémy Arki unveiled a short video created using productions from the Class of 2025, sparking smiles and applause.
