Through concrete examples from linguistics, students will explore core statistical principles, including: datasets\/corpora (variables, observations, &#8230;), descriptive statistics (mean, variance, correlation, &#8230;), point and interval estimation, linear regression and statistical tests. The course focuses on making these concepts accessible and directly applicable to linguistic data analysis.
