La cr\u00e9ation de cet Institut de recherche, de soins et de formation d\u2019excellence port\u00e9 par l\u2019AP-HP, l\u2019Inserm, Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, le CEA et l\u2019Institut Pasteur, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e par le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique lors des Assises de la sant\u00e9 mentale en septembre 2021. Un b\u00e2timent d\u00e9di\u00e9 sur le site de l\u2019h\u00f4pital Robert Debr\u00e9 AP-HP ouvrira ses portes en 2027.
