Soutenue par la Fondation Bettencourt Schueller et la Philharmonie de Paris, cette enqu\u00eate explore les transformations profondes que la pratique du chant collectif op\u00e8re sur la voix, le corps et l’esprit de jeunes de 11 \u00e0 15 ans. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e dans le cadre du programme EVE (Exister avec la Voix Ensemble), qui vise \u00e0 promouvoir le chant choral aupr\u00e8s des adolescents en milieu scolaire depuis 2018.<\/p>\n

La voix, un levier d’\u00e9panouissement individuel et collectif pour les adolescents<\/h3>\n

L\u2019\u00e9tude, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e de janvier 2023 \u00e0 juin 2024 par le Centre de recherches psychanalyse, m\u00e9decine et soci\u00e9t\u00e9 (CRMPS) de l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9, s\u2019est attach\u00e9e \u00e0 mieux comprendre l\u2019impact de la pratique du chant choral dans le d\u00e9veloppement psychologique de l\u2019adolescent, dans son processus de subjectivation et dans l\u2019\u00e9panouissement de sa scolarit\u00e9. L\u2019\u00e9tude s\u2019est ainsi concentr\u00e9e sur trois axes majeurs : le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019estime de soi et des comp\u00e9tences orales, l\u2019accompagnement de la mue vocale et les processus de changement intrapsychique.<\/p>\n

Des comp\u00e9tences orales renforc\u00e9es<\/strong>
L\u2019\u00e9tude montre que les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ayant particip\u00e9 au projet EVE ont significativement am\u00e9lior\u00e9 leurs performances \u00e0 l\u2019oral, que ce soit en termes de gestion du stress, de projection vocale, ou de posture corporelle.<\/p>\n

Un accompagnement de la mue vocale<\/strong>
La mue vocale, souvent per\u00e7ue comme une p\u00e9riode d\u2019incertitude pour les adolescents, a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9e. L\u00e0 encore, les r\u00e9sultats montrent que le chant choral apporte une transformation positive.<\/p>\n

Des processus psychiques structur\u00e9s<\/strong>
Enfin, l\u2019\u00e9tude met en lumi\u00e8re des transformations significatives dans les processus intrapsychiques des participants. Les analyses qualitatives montrent une r\u00e9elle \u00e9volution dans la capacit\u00e9 des adolescents \u00e0 symboliser leurs \u00e9motions, et \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 distance leurs conflits int\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n

Faire du chant choral une cl\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9ducation de demain<\/h3>\n

Alors que le d\u00e9crochage, le harc\u00e8lement et l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 continuent de poser des d\u00e9fis majeurs dans le milieu scolaire, cette \u00e9tude plaide en faveur d\u2019une plus grande place pour le chant choral dans les pratiques \u00e9ducatives. Ses bienfaits vont bien au-del\u00e0 des comp\u00e9tences artistiques : ils touchent au c\u0153ur des enjeux scolaires et soci\u00e9taux actuels.<\/p>\n

L\u2019enqu\u00eate montre comment l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019activit\u00e9s artistiques \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole peut ainsi d\u00e9passer les objectifs purement p\u00e9dagogiques. Elle souligne le r\u00f4le fondamental de la voix comme outil de communication et d\u2019expression dans la construction de soi, tout en favorisant un environnement collectif d\u2019\u00e9coute et de respect.<\/p>\n

Une approche psychocorporelle du chant choral<\/h3>\n

Soutenu depuis sa cr\u00e9ation par la Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, son m\u00e9c\u00e8ne fondateur, le projet EVE (Exister avec la Voix Ensemble) a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9 en 2018 par le D\u00e9partement \u00c9ducation de la Philharmonie de Paris, en partenariat \u00e9troit avec l\u2019\u00c9ducation nationale. Ce projet participe \u00e0 la d\u00e9mocratisation de la musique et se met au service du d\u00e9veloppement global de chacun, \u00e0 travers la pratique du chant choral par des jeunes enfants et adolescents.
Prochaine \u00e9tape pour le projet EVE : se d\u00e9ployer \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle nationale encore plus importante \u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e 2025, en se concentrant sur les coll\u00e9giens et, donc, cette p\u00e9riode particuli\u00e8re de l\u2019adolescence qui int\u00e8gre de forts changements physiologiques et psychiques.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
