\u00c9tudiant en Master MEEF et \u00e9lu \u00e0 la commission formation, Quentin Cabat a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu vice-doyen \u00e9tudiant de la Facult\u00e9 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s & Humanit\u00e9s le 3 juillet 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n J’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 admis \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 en bi-licence histoire-g\u00e9ographie pour l’ann\u00e9e universitaire 2022\/2023. Au cours de cette premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, j’ai ressenti l’envie – si ce n’est le besoin – de m’investir dans le syndicalisme \u00e9tudiant, et j’ai alors fait la rencontre d’une \u00e9tudiante ayant pour projet la fondation d’un syndicat dans notre universit\u00e9. Avec cette derni\u00e8re, et d’autres camarades, nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 le syndicat \u00e9tudiant ECUME, d\u00e9fendant une universit\u00e9 publique gratuite ouverte \u00e0 toutes et tous. Depuis lors, je suis membre du bureau du syndicat et j\u2019int\u00e8grerai la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e du Master M\u00e9tiers de l’enseignement, de l’\u00e9ducation et de la formation (MEEF) Histoire-G\u00e9ographie \u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e de septembre.<\/p>\n Lors des \u00e9lections \u00e9tudiantes de 2023, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu au conseil de l’UFR GHES, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la Commission Formation de la Facult\u00e9 S&H. Plus tard dans l’ann\u00e9e, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu pour si\u00e9ger en commission disciplinaire et au comit\u00e9 \u00e9lectoral consultatif.<\/p>\n Tout d’abord, je me suis pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans un contexte de relative passivit\u00e9 de la plupart des repr\u00e9sentantes et repr\u00e9sentants \u00e9tudiants. Ces derniers communicant en effet peu, voire pas, sur les conseils et commissions auxquels ils assistaient. A mon sens, la base du travail de repr\u00e9sentation est la transparence et la communication. De plus, les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants doivent aujourd’hui \u00e9tudier dans un contexte alarmant de pr\u00e9carisation de la jeunesse o\u00f9 des politiques d’aust\u00e9rit\u00e9 sont mises en place \u00e0 grand coup de coupes budg\u00e9taires d\u00e9gradant ainsi nos conditions d’\u00e9tudes. Dans ce contexte, je pense qu’il est primordial d’avoir des \u00e9lus combatifs d\u00e9fendant r\u00e9ellement et factuellement les droits des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants dans les instances de l’universit\u00e9.<\/p>\n Dans un premier temps, et cela avant toute id\u00e9e de projet, je pense qu’il est primordial de cr\u00e9er un v\u00e9ritable lien entre les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9lus \u00e9tudiants de la facult\u00e9. Pour ce faire, je compte organiser avec ces derniers des r\u00e9unions pour constituer ensemble un \u00e9tat des lieux et d\u00e9finir collectivement une m\u00e9thode de travail coh\u00e9rente, transparente et efficace, au service de l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants de la facult\u00e9.<\/p>\n Comme \u00e9nonc\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, la base du travail de repr\u00e9sentation est la communication. De ce fait, il me semble primordial que les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants n’h\u00e9sitent pas \u00e0 nous poser leurs questions, nous faire part de leurs retours, et nous faire remonter les probl\u00e8mes qu’ils rencontrent. Les repr\u00e9sentantes et repr\u00e9sentants \u00e9tudiants sont l\u00e0 pour \u00e7a, et il en va de m\u00eame pour le Vice-Doyen \u00e9tudiant !<\/p>\n Je compte rejoindre \u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des canaux de discussions utilis\u00e9s par les diff\u00e9rentes promotions de la facult\u00e9.
