100% des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants du Master 2 Patrimoine Scientifique technique naturel et architectural (PSTN-A) de l’UFR GHES ont \u00e9t\u00e9 admis au concours 2025 d\u2019Attach\u00e9 de conservation du patrimoine, un concours tr\u00e8s s\u00e9lectif organis\u00e9 seulement tous les 3 ans. Au total, ce sont 27 dipl\u00f4m\u00e9es et dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s du master qui ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 admis cette ann\u00e9e, dont Erica Champeau. Avant d\u2019int\u00e9grer le master PSTN-A, Erica Champeau a suivi un parcours exigeant en histoire de l\u2019art puis en histoire des sciences et des techniques, \u00e0 l\u2019interface entre arts, sciences et patrimoine. Ses recherches l\u2019ont conduite \u00e0 travailler sur des archives et des collections scientifiques vari\u00e9es, d\u00e9veloppant une solide m\u00e9thodologie et une grande rigueur dans l\u2019analyse des sources. Cependant, elle ressent rapidement le besoin de compl\u00e9ter cette formation par une dimension plus professionnalisante, afin de concr\u00e9tiser son projet et d\u2019int\u00e9grer le secteur patrimonial. Le choix du parcours PSTN-A s\u2019impose alors comme une \u00e9vidence : cette formation fait partie des rares en France \u00e0 proposer une sp\u00e9cialisation en patrimoine scientifique, technique et naturel, tout en int\u00e9grant une pr\u00e9paration approfondie aux concours. Les enseignements couvrent l\u2019histoire de la mus\u00e9ologie, la culture scientifique et technique, l\u2019histoire de la protection des espaces naturels, ou encore les outils de gestion du patrimoine comme les labellisations, le classement et l\u2019inscription au niveau national, ou l\u2019inscription sur la liste du patrimoine mondial.\u00a0\u00bb <\/em><\/p>\n Les cours permettent \u00e9galement d\u2019aborder les grands enjeux contemporains du secteur : transition \u00e9cologique, place du num\u00e9rique et de l\u2019intelligence artificielle, \u00e9thique, accessibilit\u00e9 ou encore relations entre science et soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n Le master PSTN-A se distingue par la qualit\u00e9 de sa pr\u00e9paration aux concours du patrimoine. Le taux de r\u00e9ussite exceptionnel de la promotion 2025 en t\u00e9moigne : 100% des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants du Master 2 Patrimoine Scientifique technique naturel et architectural (PSTN-A) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 admis au concours 2025 d\u2019Attach\u00e9 de conservation du patrimoine, \u00ab\u00a0La formation propose une progression tr\u00e8s structur\u00e9e, avec des exercices r\u00e9guliers et des concours blancs. Les progr\u00e8s sont impressionnants. [\u2026] On apprend non seulement \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser les connaissances, mais aussi \u00e0 adopter le positionnement attendu d\u2019un cadre du service public.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n Le m\u00e9moire de recherche illustre pleinement la dimension appliqu\u00e9e du master. R\u00e9alis\u00e9 en parall\u00e8le de son poste au sein de SNCF Gares & Connexions, celui d\u2019Erica Champeau portait sur l\u2019int\u00e9gration des enjeux environnementaux dans la restauration du patrimoine ferroviaire : \u00ab\u00a0durant mon ann\u00e9e de master, j\u2019occupais en effet un poste de charg\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9tude patrimoniale au sein du Studio Patrimoine d\u2019AREP \/ SNCF Gares & Connexions. Mon m\u00e9moire portait sur la mani\u00e8re de d\u00e9velopper une approche environnementale sp\u00e9cifiquement patrimoniale afin d\u2019accompagner les architectes du patrimoine ferroviaire de la SNCF dans la restauration des gares en France. Le master offrant la possibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser un m\u00e9moire mixte, de type recherche appliqu\u00e9e ou recherche-action, j\u2019ai choisi d\u2019inscrire mon travail dans cette dynamique. J\u2019y ai ainsi analys\u00e9 la mani\u00e8re dont j\u2019ai mobilis\u00e9 et rendu op\u00e9rationnelles mes comp\u00e9tences en patrimoine scientifique, technique et naturel au service d\u2019une \u00e9quipe d\u2019architectes et de la SNCF : conception d\u2019une exposition en gare de Paris-Austerlitz, \u00e9tudes historiques sur des gares de la Reconstruction, inventaires d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments du patrimoine ferroviaire\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n Ce travail lui a permis de mobiliser ses comp\u00e9tences dans un contexte concret, en lien avec des architectes, ing\u00e9nieurs et urbanistes. L\u2019articulation entre formation et exp\u00e9rience professionnelle propos\u00e9 au sein du master constitue un atout d\u00e9terminant pour l\u2019insertion.<\/p>\n Erica Champeau s\u2019appr\u00eate d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 prendre des fonctions de responsable du patrimoine au sein d\u2019une collectivit\u00e9 territoriale. Elle souhaite d\u00e9velopper des projets \u00e0 l\u2019interface entre patrimoine culturel et naturel, tout en s\u2019int\u00e9ressant \u00e9galement au patrimoine des savoir-faire et des arts d\u00e9coratifs.<\/p>\n \u00ab\u00a0Ma formation \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 un point d\u2019orgue de mon parcours, m\u2019ouvrant de nombreuses portes, me conf\u00e9rant une remarquable polyvalence et me permettant de nouer des rencontres d\u00e9terminantes dans le milieu patrimonial. J\u2019ai donc de nombreux projets\u202f! [\u2026] Par ailleurs, j\u2019aimerais \u00e9galement \u0153uvrer dans le champ du patrimoine de l\u2019artisanat d\u2019art et des arts d\u00e9coratifs, en renfor\u00e7ant des approches relevant de l\u2019histoire des techniques \u2014 une articulation qui me semble parfois plus d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e dans d\u2019autres pays. En ce sens, je voudrais \u00e9galement contribuer \u00e0 favoriser les \u00e9changes internationaux entre les professionnels du PSTN, ce qui pourra sans doute se concr\u00e9tiser par le biais de l\u2019association d\u00e9di\u00e9e au PSTN que nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9e avec mes formidables camarades de promotion, et dans laquelle nous esp\u00e9rons d\u2019ailleurs inviter, s\u2019ils le souhaitent, les futurs \u00e9tudiants du master.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n \u00c0 plus long terme, elle envisage de se sp\u00e9cialiser dans le patrimoine maritime et de se pr\u00e9senter au concours de conservateur du patrimoine.<\/p>\n \u00c0 celles et ceux qui souhaitent s\u2019orienter vers les m\u00e9tiers du patrimoine, son conseil est sans \u00e9quivoque : \u00ab\u00a0il ne faut pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 candidater. Ce master est id\u00e9al pour ceux qui souhaitent se former professionnellement et int\u00e9grer d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent le milieu du patrimoine, tout en se pr\u00e9parant aux concours. Il est aussi int\u00e9ressant pour les profils pluridisciplinaires, qui souhaitent faire du PSTN leur domaine de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9. De nombreux postes dans le patrimoine sont en effet mixtes, associant le PSTN avec d\u2019autres patrimoines, comme le patrimoine arch\u00e9ologique ou les beaux-arts, ou avec des enjeux transversaux tels que le droit ou le financement de la culture.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n Enfin, elle souligne l\u2019importance de l\u2019esprit collectif au sein de la formation : \u00ab\u00a0les promotions sont soud\u00e9es. Nous travaillons en \u00e9quipe, entre pairs, dans une dynamique qui favorise l\u2019\u00e9mulation et tire parti de la diversit\u00e9 des profils de chacun.
