On 20 May 2026, a delegation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong was welcomed at Université Paris Cité for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Health.

The Faculty of Health at Université Paris Cité and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a public university located in the north of Hong Kong, have formalised their ties through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between the two universities, particularly in joint research across two priority areas: vision sciences, including ophthalmology, and psychiatry. During the meeting, presentations of Université Paris Cité, as well as of the Faculties of Science and of Society and Humanities, were also delivered, in order to open new perspectives for cooperation.
The Université Paris Cité delegation included Antoine Kouchner, Vice-President for Strategy and International Relations, Antoine Kouchner, Mathieu Resche-Rigon, Dean of the Faculty of Health, and Hawa Keita-Meyer, Vice-Dean for International Relations. They were accompanied by teams from the faculties’ International Relations Offices, the International Relations Directorate, as well as Dr. Francine Behar-Cohen, ophthalmologist and professor at UPCité, as well as Dr. Min Zhao.
The delegation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong was composed of Professor Dennis Lo, Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Victor Junnan Pan, Chair of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages, Ms Shally Fan, Director of Academic Partnerships at the Academic Affairs Office, and Mr Louis Wong, Head of the same office.
