From 8 to 11 September, Université Paris Cité took part in the EAIE (European Association for International Education), the largest European higher education exhibition, held in Glasgow.

As Europe’s premier hub for higher education professionals, the EAIE brings together thousands of international educators annually to foster global cooperation.

A showcase for UPCité’s international appeal

In line with its international strategy and its commitment to the internationalisation of higher education, Université Paris Cité was present at EAIE alongside nearly forty French institutions, France Universités and the ‘Bienvenue en France’ label.

This event provided an opportunity to promote the quality of its course offering to a wide international audience and to highlight its key strengths:

• Its Graduate Schools and its Summer Schools;
• its multilingual courses and international programmes;
• the quality of the welcome and support provided to international students and researchers.

Strengthening partnerships and preparing for the future of education

The university held around thirty meetings at the event, making it an opportunity to engage with institutions from around the world, consolidate existing partnerships and discuss issues relating to the internationalisation of higher education and research.

This year’s event was notably characterised by a strong interest in the forthcoming Erasmus Charter for 2028–2034. The goal was to identify upcoming major changes for higher education, whether concerning new degree formats, the digitalisation of processes, or funding prospects.
