In line with its public service mission and values, Université Paris Cité is strengthening its commitment to providing an inclusive and respectful environment for both study and work. Starting in June 2026, a single reporting platform will be available to the entire university community, accessible to everyone.

A centralised, accessible and secure system

Replacing the signalement@u-paris.fr email address, the new platform allows users to report all forms of violence and harassment in complete trust and confidentiality. This includes psychosocial risks (such as stress or deteriorating working relationships), gender-based and sexual violence, and discriminatory acts like racism and antisemitism.

It is open to the entire university community and anyone who may be a witness or victim: students, doctoral candidates, staff (including lecturer-researchers, researchers, administrative and technical staff, and contractors), as well as partners and members of the public.

Accessible 24/7 from any device (computer, mobile phone, or tablet), the platform is designed to simplify the reporting process with a clear interface and a submission procedure that takes just a few steps.

At the heart of the system: listening, respect and consent

Reports can be submitted anonymously or with your name. At every stage of the process, the person making the report remains in full control of their case.

Every reported situation is handled through a structured, transparent, and tailored process, in strict compliance with confidentiality guidelines and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Once a report has been submitted and provided the user has not chosen to remain anonymous, the reporting person will be offered support from qualified staff bound by the strictest confidentiality. The situation can then be assessed, leading to a tailored action plan which will only be implemented with the reporting person’s full consent.

A tool for prevention and action

The platform was designed not only to improve the logging and follow-up of reported incidents but also to strengthen coordination among prevention teams. This includes the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion mission, the HR department (DGDRHO), occupational health services, health and safety officers, and social workers.

In addition to managing individual cases, this tool will help the university better analyse reporting trends, ensure traceability, and shape its broader prevention policy.

Finally, the platform provides a comprehensive directory of resources, as well as institutional and national contacts that anyone can reach out to for help.

Through this platform, Université Paris Cité reaffirms its commitment to preventing incidents, listening to its community, and providing support. It aims to foster a study and work environment built on respect, trust, and both individual and collective responsibility.

Focus: a responsible and supportive university

The reporting platform is part of the university’s wider action plans for inclusion, equality, the prevention of psychosocial risks, and scientific integrity. These include the HRS4R label, the EgalitéS mission, the SdEx 2030 student experience roadmap, the sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (DD&RSE) roadmap, and the Disability master plan. .
It complements existing mechanisms, such as occupational health and safety registers and scientific integrity procedures.
