The Academic Chairs Programme

Circle U. is a European alliance bringing together nine universities with a shared ambition: to contribute to the development of more sustainable, democratic and healthier societies. Its Open Campus offers courses and activities across a range of key themes, including artificial intelligence, climate, democracy, global health and multilingualism….

For each of these themes, every partner university appoints an Academic Chair responsible for developing educational activities in collaboration with the other institutions within the alliance. At Université Paris Cité, the Academic Chairs play a central role in the internationalisation of the University’s educational offer. They also foster lasting partnerships between European institutions, university communities, civil society, and stakeholders in research and higher education.

The Circle U. Democracy Chair at Université Paris Cité

Université Paris Cité is now seeking applications for its new Democracy Chair.

Getting involved with Circle U. is a unique opportunity to bring European academic collaboration to life. It offers the chance to build meaningful connections and work closely with fellow academics and Circle U. teams to develop innovative teaching modules and launch new research initiatives that explore fresh perspectives and break new ground.
